Book Review-#1 "Stepping Heavenward," By Elisabeth Prentiss

Stepping Heavenward, is written in the perspective of a personal journal, belonging to a young lady(Katherine Mortimer). This is a excellent piece of fiction. Elisabeth writes in a way which brings these journal entries to life.

Even though this book is based in the 1800's there are still the same struggles young woman deal with today. Becoming a woman and still respecting her parents, life's lessons of sickness, death, wisdom, prayer poor, wealthy and faith.

She has a temper, and is not afraid of being herself, we can relate to her doubts in God, seeking the truth, and finding answers.

She takes us through her struggle for health, and being a better wife, mother & daughter.

Her raw honesty and the degree in which she pushes herself can't help but challenge the reader and their walk with the Lord.

This is a must read, even though it is directed more towards a female audience.
